BudgetForLife is a budgeting software I cofounded that combines the privacy and customization of a personal spreadsheet with the aesthetics and automation of an app - resulting in a truly utilitarian, cost-friendly solution. More importantly: it actually works! As in, using it will enhance your ability to make excellent financial decisions and accelerate your path to financial freedom. Not only that, but we currently offer lifetime revenue sharing as an incentive for letting people know about it.

Common Goods is a dedicated liquidation resale warehouse located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. While I never thought I’d run a retail business, I feel overjoyed and honored every day to see the impact of saving people money. I have the best customers! Reselling at scale allows me to give people work, reduce retail waste, and offer steep discounts to frugal Americans everywhere UPS ships. I also like to think that it keeps my collar looking baby-blue ;). Come shop sometime! 

  • I can hardly believe it, but it’s been five years since we moved to Fayetteville! And at this point, Megan and I have officially lived in Arkansas for the majority of our marriage. What!?

  • The other night, Megan and I were reading a book to Beckham before he went to bed. It’s called Circus Ship, a story centered around fifteen traveling animals that thanks to a shipwreck escape from their angry owner.

  • Perhaps the most unnatural skill I’ve had to learn of late is resisting the urge to clean. Honestly, it pains me in a way to even type those words - that’s how much I love clean!

  • It's a fascinating time to be starting a business, even more so a financial advisory. On one hand, I see indexes falling, costs rising, and fears of doom creeping onto America's center stage.

  • “This is what calling feels like.” It was on January 17th, 2021, my heart erupting with dreams and my stomach sinking with fear, as a once-distant thought had grown too loud to ignore.
